Face of the Day with the Urban Decay Naked Palette

Here is a Face of the Day from the other week featuring the Urban Decay Naked palette. I ought to do a proper review on it soon, although it has been reviewed umpteen times already on other blogs. I was unsure for a long time about picking this up since I feared it would be too warm for me. It is definitely warm but happily I think it still manages to work. I really should use it more often even if it’s just to use a single shade to complete a look. It is a fantastic value for such a comprehensive palette of neutrals. This is the only Urban Decay palette I own as I’ve never been attracted to any others that have included crazy colours and immense glitter. This palette however is a must. I also wore one of my favourite Glossimers Pink Teaser from the fall 2010 collection. Thankfully it is permanent as it is a wonderfully pigmented and flattering shade.

I can’t believe I don’t own the naked palette being such a neutral eye shadow lover this seems like I’m committing a cardinal sin. Also why do you always say that you can’t pull off taupes, this look is very “you”! Pretty, pretty girl!

Aww thanks Jenn! I don’t consider this to be taupe though. The shades I used are very warm gold, copper and bronze tones. My fave for blue eyes! And YES, you need UD naked!

Thanks LuvJ! Pink Teaser is one of my favourites too 😉
