I was so happy with the Laura Mercier Gel Lip Colour in Hibiscus Bloom that I promptly ordered two more shades; Clementine and Sweet Cherry. Clementine is as shocking to behold in the tube as Hibiscus Bloom was, but this time it is a vibrant orange as opposed to the hot pink of Hibiscus Bloom. Not to fear though because the highly pigmented, yet sheer formula is delightful on the lips. At first I was concerned that Clementine would be too similar to Dior Addict in Fire but it turns out they are drastically different both on the lips and swatched. Dior Addict Fire is a more true orange while Clementine is a deeper coral toned orange with no shimmer. Wear time is pretty good for such a light feeling lipstick and it wears off evenly leaving a nice stain to the lips. I’m definitely happy to be rockin the Orange trend this season!

The gel lipsticks are FABULOUS! I like them way more than the Chanel Rouge Coco Shines. They are LE thought and selling out fast.
That’s sooo pretty. I do agree, I love how juicy they make the lips go. I’m going to have to run out and get this shade. I’m loving the oranges this summer.
