Chanel Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss in 52 Genie – Review and Swatches

I really love the Chanel Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss formula. I’m not sure why I only own the three I do? Time to rectify that! It is a more opaque formula than most of the Glossimers and the shades have very fine shimmer to no shimmer. They are very long wearing for a gloss and are not at all sticky. I really love the classy black tube as well. Genie was ahead of it’s time for the whole orange trend this season. It is incredibly wearable and is a subtle pretty peach on my lips.

That’s pigmented! It reminds me of RAL in Stunt. If I liked glosses I’d be all over that one. It looks beautiful on you.

I actually got it in Mexico as my trip souvenir…LOL funny huh!

I prefer lipsticks and generally don’t wear them alone but these are nice topped over a lipstick too for a little oomph!

Genie looks beautiful on you! I really like how it looks so creamy, might have to check these lipglosses when I get to the counter. x Klara

I don’t see enough posts on the Chanel Rouge Allure glosses. You’re right, I have 2 and love both of them. I don’t know why I haven’t tried a few more colors. I think I get sucked into the Chanel hype and always move onto their new products and forget about my old loves. #52 is so pretty, thank you for the swatches!

To date this is my favorite lip gloss, especially after dealing with the disappointing Edward Bess one – such a shame. Don’t you just love the applicator on this thing too? It’s the best!

This looks great! Nice even without a lipstick! I haven’t tried these yet, must do so immediately!

These really are incredible girls! Jenn is right. The applicator is great. I thought it was so odd when I first saw it but it is genius! I need to get more shades. I suppose the $32 US price tag is what’s been holding me back… they are pricey for a gloss.

love this! I’m still debating picking one of these up
