Le Metier de Beaute Tuscan Sunset inspired Face of the Day

I received my Neiman Marcus order the other day with so many new goodies to try! It took me a while to decide what products to try first but decided to go with a very warm look to try out a couple of my new Le Metier de Beaute eyeshadows (especially Tuscan Sunset eyeshadow as a blush). I was also excited to try out Dior Addict lipstick in Fire (reviewed here). I’m very happy with how this look turned out and the new additions to my collection. I was also trying out Armani Luminous Silk Foundation and I really didn’t care for it. I’ve tried samples in the past so I’m not sure why I thought this time would be any different.
Products Used:
Armani Luminous Silk Foundation Shade 2 (fail)
Make Up Forever HD Concealer 305
Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder
Fresh Face Luster in Fair Isle

Love this look – it’s gorgeous and your skin looks amazing. How did you find the LM secret brightening powder – have always meant to try it?

What a brilliant idea for a blog – must tell a few friends about it!

Thanks!! Welcome my fair, strawberry friend! I got the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening powder at Sephora. It’s a silly large amount of product. Will last forever. It really does a wonderful job of setting concealer and keeping it from setting in fine lines. Maybe I ought to do a review on it.

First visit here and it will be bookmarked. I’ll have to spend some time looking at the older posts. Very nice makeup technique and colors. Though I’m nowhere near your coloring (Asian, NC25) I can still appreciate your looks. As an aside, LOOOOVEE the color of your hair. I’m a big fan of the Outlander books and the hero has bronze, gold, red, copper hair. I will now be using your hair color in my mind when I’m reading the books (yet again). WIth or without your permission. Sorry. 🙂
